Chapter 10: Audelita's Blanket

Abuelita’s blanket occurs as a theme again in Chapter 10.

On page 160 it says: “Esperanza picked up the needlework and began where Abuelita had left off.” 

Think about what you read yesterday about the blanket, on page 15.

What seems important about Esperanza “beginning” the blanket “where Abuelita left off”?
